Enhancing education to foster "Magokoro" (Sincerity)
In the first year of each course, we have set aside a "Time for the Founding Spirit" as part of the comprehensive study period. While maintaining the uniqueness of the course, we have devised and improved the syllabus to promote understanding and instill the philosophy of the Founding Spirit. In particular, Sendai Ikuei Gakuen provides meticulous guidance to nurture "Magokoro" (Sincerity), the sentiment of caring for others as a human being, one of the pillars of the Founding Spirit.

Development of education for international understanding (fostering global citizens)
Education for international understanding at Sendai ikuei Gakuen began in 1961, and already has a history of more than half a century.
Students in the Foreign Language Course study in Hawaii in their first year, and students inSpecial University Preparatory Course, Computer Science Course, Personal Advancement Course study in Hawaii in their second year.At the same time, we continue to accept international students from abroad, send our students to sister schools abroad, and conduct exchanges with foreign countries through sports and culture in all courses.

Education with international certification and thorough teacher training
In 2015, Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School became the first school in Japan to be certified as a dual-language school for the International Baccalaureate (IB), which is conducted in both English and Japanese in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The IB offers the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11-16, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 17-19. By passing the final exam of the DP, students can enter not only domestic universities that are introducing IB entrance examinations, but also international universities.
Shukoh Junior High School is a MYP accredited school.
As an IB school, many of the teachers at Shukoh Junior High School have received training in the IB MYP and DP programs, and are working to develop lessons that are appropriate for the next generation of students, including inquiry-based lesson design and the introduction of active learning as a means of learning. -
Educational environment that encourages independence
Sendai Ikuei Gakuen consists of two school campuses in Miyagi Prefecture, Miyagino and Tagajo, which are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and an ideal training environment for club activities. In addition, the school has learning centers in various parts of the prefecture to support students in their studies, as well as ILC Miyagi in Miyagino Campus, ILC Aomori in Hachinohe, and ILC Okinawain Okinawa City, Okinawa.
The school provides a transit system that allows students from distant places within Miyagi Prefecture, to commute to school via shuttle buses and support vehicles comfortably and at a reasonable price.In order to realize the dreams of students who have entered the school with clear goals, the school provides healthy environments for self-study, and has dormitories and specialized rental apartments that ensure a comfortable sleeping environment. In addition, the cafeteria offers a wide variety of menu items to meet the needs of the athletic teams, and dietary education is provided by a nutritionist who is well versed in the development of top athletes.
