Daily schedule of IB students

   
Before school starts Many students start arriving at school around 8:00 a.m. and can be seen in the open, glass-walled classrooms working on their assignments on the computers.
8:50- SHR Information from homeroom teacher in homeroom
   (Homeroom teacher will be a native speaker for 2nd grade)
9:05 - 9:55 1st period: IB Math (SL)
The textbook is in English, but the class is conducted in Japanese.
10:05 - 10:55 2nd period: IB Language B (HL)
This is the time for foreign languages. Japanese students choose English B and international students choose Japanese B.
11:05 - 11:55 3rd period: TOK
This is an IB core course called "Theory of Knowledge".This is a time to learn how to think about knowledge, and is developed through team-teaching between international and Japanese teachers.
11:55 - 12:35 Lunch break
12:35 - 13:25 4th period: IB Language A (HL)
This is a class where students basically learn in their native language. Students are given the choice of Japanese A, English A, or Chinese A.
13:35 - 14:25 5th period: IB World History (HL)
English and Japanese classes are available, and students can choose either one.
14:35 - 15:25 6th period: IB Biology/IB Science (SL)
Depending on the student's preference, biology (in Japanese or English) or chemistry (in Japanese) will be chosen.
15:35 - 16:25 7th period: CAS
This is the IB core subject of "Creativity, Activity, Service". Each student will create a written plan and engage in various activities according to their plan.
