In 1905 the founder Mr. Rikichi Katoh opened Ikuei Juku in Sendai.
This private school has grown and developed into the present-day Sendai Ikuei Gakuen.
Throughout the 112 years of the school's history, Mr. Katoh’s founding principles of
"Sincerity," "Confidence " and "Responsibility and Determination" continue to live on.
