It is possible to enroll in Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School via the following
methods.
In addition to taking the general entrance exams (subject exams), the following methods are available. |

1 |
Special Treatment Entrance exam (conditional single school application; once accepted by the school, enrolment is obligatory)
– encompasses a variety of benefits including exemption of entrance fees. |
|
|
Application Conditions: Students must achieve an average grade above 4.5 in English and Japanese in the 3rd year exams.
Students must pass at least Pre-2 level of the Eiken test. |
|
|
Test Format: General Subjects (Essay), Interview |
|
|
2 |
Self-recommendation Entrance exam (conditional single school application; once accepted by the school, enrolment is obligatory)

Application conditions: It is preferred that students achieve an average grade above 3.5 in English and Japanese in the 3rd year exams.
Students are required to place in the top 3 in English speech or recitation contest; and to have passed Eiken 3rd grade or above. |

※For students wishing to transfer from International schools within Japan,
either of the following requirements must be met:
1. Undertake Junior High School graduation exams authorized by the
Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Applications – Late August
Exams - Late October
2. Attend a local public Junior High school for a period of six months.

Students wishing to transfer from International Schools, or overseas
high
schools should follow the following procedures. |
|

1 |
Notify your current school of your wish to transfer. |
|
|
2 |
Notify the Ikuei Gakuen Entrance Examination and Public Relations Department of your wish to transfer. |
|
|
3 |
Submit your transfer entrance application to Ikuei Gakuen. |
|
|
4 |
Undertake the transfer entrance examination.
